Hello, I’m Michelle Eichenberger. I’ve been a licensed MN/ND Realtor since 2011. I grew up East Grand Forks, MN and have been living in the F/M area for nearly 15 years. Here are my top 10 reasons why being a real estate agent is the best job in the world!

1. The People. I meet so many wonderful people that I would have otherwise not known. Everyone has a unique situation. I love learning about my clients fascinating life stories and incorporating this information into ways I can better serve them. I like to socialize and enjoy working with a variety of personalities. I’m so grateful for the amazing friendships I have made.
2. It’s Fresh. Everyday brings something new. Transactions and clients are like snowflakes, no two are the same. I like change, new trends, and adapting to different markets. Real estate offers the versatility in a work environment that I desire.
3. Possibilities. Real estate is a powerful thing. These investments can change your life. For many owning a home is a dream come true. Whether you’re a first-time buyer or a seasoned seller, it gives me immense pleasure being an integral part of making your dreams a realty.  Where you live becomes the center of your universe. A home is where you will create cherished memories.
4. Helping Hand. With decades of experience in the service industry and sales, providing top notch service is second nature. Let’s face it, buying and selling is stressful. It’s rewarding to be able to apply my experience, skills, knowledge, and genuine care to ease the stress of moving. In addition to keeping transactions going smoothly, often I become part counselor, part life coach, and part mentor. My passion for giving back is always fulfilled.

As a former working artist, attention to detail, cultivating fresh ideas and thinking outside of the box is my wheelhouse. With over a decade of success transactions, I have developed tried and true negotiating tactics that get the job done. 8. Competition. I have learned to love and embrace the competitive nature of real estate. It provides opportunity and reason to constantly improve my performance and motivates me to put forth greater effort in everything I do.
9. Flexibility. Working as an independent contractor has its perks. As a busy mother of 3 young boys, the ability to set my own hours, work from home and prioritize my own goals makes the long and sometimes stressful hours worth it. To make a living, you must work hard but the work is so rewarding, it hardly feels like “work”.
10. Growth. Overcoming obstacles and challenges in real estate has allowed for substantial growth in both my personal and professional life. There is no doubt that the success I have had in real estate has changed my life for the better. I’m not talking about just the monetary things; it changed the way I look at the world. I now understand that to grow I had to get comfortable with being uncomfortable. It’s a matter of attitude. Pushing past fears and insecurities with an optimistic attitude and an abundant mindset has made me a better person.
